Sojourn is a booking app for an ultra-luxury short-term rental (STR) service, built as part of a real estate investment trust (REIT) initiative. It’s tailored for startups seeking premium spaces to lock in with their team for focused sprints.

With a saturated market of generic booking apps, the challenge was to create something that felt truly elevated—an experience that matched the exclusivity of the properties and the intensity of the work being done within them.

I led the design of a motion-rich, gesture-based interface that stripped away friction and added intentionality at every step—from sequencing login to payment. The experience was designed to feel more like entering a beautifully crafted product than making a transaction—turning booking into part of the retreat itself.
